Things definitely changed
I walk through the gate about a year later with hopes that my life in California would have stayed the same. I notice a brownish-reddish haired girl run up to me with a smile.
“Miley!” Demi hugged her tightly while a huge smile hugged her face.
Miley hugs back as she smiles back. “Demi!”
Demi pulls away and her face goes into awe. “What happened to you?” She asked as she eyed Miley’s outfit that consisted of shirt that showed no cleavage, blue non-ripped jeans and black cardigan.
Miley shrugged in confusion as she followed Demi towards the elevators. “I’m still the same person I’m just a good girl now.”
Demi laughed at first but then saw how serious Miley is. “Are you serious? No more bad girl?” She asked in disbelief.
Miley nodded while pushing a button as the elevator doors closed. “Yeah I went through a life changing lesson, so I hope you still wanna be friends with me.” She said hopeful that Demi still wants to be friends.
“Of course it’s just it’s been a year, so I gotta get used to it.” She said as they get into the car and drive off.
Later
“So what has changed since I left?” Miley asked in curious voice.
“Well since you left, Selena took your role as the school’s bad girl. Surprisingly I like her better as that then some slutty bitch.” Demi said.
“Oh wow I didn’t know she had that in her.” Miley said with a shocked face.
“I didn’t either and for me I didn’t change too much. Joe and I broke 2 months ago, but we got back together. I bet you want to know what happened to Nick.” Demi said with a slight smirk.
Miley bit her bottom lip nervously. “Sure.”
“Okay well…” Demi took a deep breath before continuing. “Nick still stayed the same but he has a girlfriend now.” Demi looked away knowing how this will hurt Miley.
Miley’s face saddens as she tried to keep herself together. “Oh um who is it? Selena?”
Demi shook her head laughing. “Nope Selena moved on, but it’s this new girl and she actually reminds me a lot of you well the bad girl version of you.”
“Well at least he picked someone who is like me and it isn’t Selena because I seriously got scared it would be Selena.” Miley said as she sighed in relief.
“Yeah I guess so but aren’t you mad that he didn’t wait for you?” Demi asked in a confused voice.
“I was hoping he would, but I mean a year? I don’t want him to be unhappy, so I’m glad he found someone.” Miley said with a smile.
Demi’s eyes widen in shock with Miley’s response. “You changed a lot, but I’m glad your back and so will everyone at my party tomorrow night.”
“Good because I wanna see everyone’s faces when they see me especially Nick and Selena.” Miley said with smile as they continued driving.
