2 months later
Interviewer: So Miley I see you’ll be performing a new song for us?
Miley: Yeah it’s my newest single out called Take Me Along.
Interviewer: Well then let’s hear. Everybody give it up for Miley Cyrus!
I pick up the mic as I stare out at the audience. “I wrote this song about someone special and that person knows who they are.” I hear the music start playing as I sing my heart out.

I ask myself is this love at all

After the song I felt tears in my eyes. This song meant so much to me. These are all the things I wanted to tell Nick, but I didn’t have heart too. I heard everyone start clapping as I wipe my tears and smile. I’m glad my fans at least like the song. I was hoping Nick heard it.
With Nick and Joe
Joe looks at me with a smile. “That song is about you, I knew it.”
I sigh as I nod at him. “Yeah I didn’t she was hurting this much. She would always smile when we would hang out and pretend everything is okay.”
His face turns serious as he speaks. “She is crazy about you dude. You should give her another chance.”
“I can’t she is hurting because of me and I don’t want to hurt her anymore.” I look away from the TV screen.
Joe shakes his head at me. “You both love to hurt each other, it’s pretty obvious but Nick she is telling you she can’t be without.”
I look at him shocked. “Why are you so hung up on me and Miley?”
“Because I want Niley to happen and you want it too.” He laughs slightly.
“Niley? Seriously you would make a couple name for us.” I laugh also.
“Hey I’m known for being a little weird, but come on she is only like 15 minutes away, you can see her.”
I hesitate at first but then I decide Joe is right. “Fine, but I better not make a fool out of myself if you’re wrong.”
At the Concert
I send out Joe to go look for Miley as I do too. I had no idea what to say, but she had to deal with Samantha and me dating for 2 months. But now I’m going to tell her how I feel. “Nick there she is hurry before she leaves.” Joe shouts out
I look over and see her talking to some friends. I start walking fast but then I hear my phone ring. I look at the caller id. It’s Samantha. I answer. “Hey Sam..Whats up?”
“Hey I wanted to say thanks for last night I had so much fun.”
I smile. “Yeah no problem.”
She stays silent, but then she speaks. “I never got to tell you last night, but I love you Nick.”
I was so preoccupied with Sam that when I looked up Miley was gone. Great I lost my chance. Maybe this a sign that me and Miley should just stay friends. I know Samantha is my girlfriend, but she sometimes has worse timing. “I love you too Samantha.” I breathe out as I realize this love triangle isn’t easy to handle.
With Miley
I take my phone as I text Nick.
Nick,
Nick I hope things with Sam are going good and you were right. If you didn’t give Sam a chance than you wouldn’t have found out how great she is. You’re my best friend and I guess the love of my life, but I know this is difficult for you and I’m not making it easier for you. So I hope you’re happy and I’ll talk to you soon.
