Chapter 12: The End
I can survive with you by my side
1 year later
Miley and Nick got married 1 year after their engagement. Selena was Miley’s maid of honor and Joe was Nick’s best man. Of course Lacey was the flower girl. Their wedding was beautiful and it was a day neither Miley nor Nick would ever forget.
1 month after wedding
Miley’s POV
Here I am having a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest and I was nervous about what he would ask. Everyone knew I married Nick, but how personal would he get?
Ryan: So Miley how does feel to be married?
Miley: It feels great and I’m really happy.
Ryan: If I must say, no one would of figured a woman like would get married because we always find you at clubs.
Miley: Yeah, but that was the old me and right now I’m trying to be mother and a good wife.
Ryan: Do you think Nick your husband changed you?
Miley: I do. He made realize what’s most important in life.
Ryan: That’s good to hear, but I heard most of your songs on your new album are about him, is that true?
Miley: Yeah they are. It shows how at times everything is good, but sometimes we had to go through struggles.
Ryan: What do you think was your biggest struggle?
Miley: um probably being away from because of movies, tours and just missing him.
Ryan: I see, So you’re going to film a new movie and it’s with your ex Liam. How will you handle that?
Miley: I mean it’s just a movie, so it doesn’t bother me that much.
Ryan: Well thank you so much for being here and you guys can buy Miley’s new album Cant Be Tamed which is out now and I wish you and Nick all the best.
Miley: Thanks Ryan and I enjoyed being here too.
That interview went pretty good, I was worried he was going to ask more about Liam, my ex. As I was walking out I felt like throwing up, so I ran to the nearest restroom and went into the stall. This was second time today I threw up. A part of me was thinking something was wrong, so I called Selena.
Later
Selena comes out the drugstore and walks over to me. “Miley I think you might be pregnant because you don’t seem sick.” She hands me the pregnancy box.
I grab the box nervously. “Wow I didn’t think I would pregnant a month after my wedding, but blamed that on the honeymoon.” I say with a giggle.
We both get in my car as we drive over to mine and Nick’s house. Nick and Joe were out playing miniature golf with Lacey, so we had the house to ourselves. I go the bathroom as Selena waits for me in the living room.
5 minutes later
I walk out with huge smile on my face. “Sel, I’m actually pregnant.”
She jumps up and hugs me tight. “Aww I’m going to be Auntie well not really, but were practically sisters.”
“I wonder how Nick is going to respond.” I say nervously.
Right when Selena was going to say something we hear the door open. They’re here. I see Joe and Nick with Lacey in his arms come up the stairs.
“Mommy I won!” Lacey exclaims as she jumps out of Nick’s arm and runs over to me.
I hug her as I kiss her forehead. “That’s great sweetie!” I say as I smile at Nick.
Joe walks over to Selena as he wraps his arms around her. “Hey babe you miss me?”
Selena smiles as she kisses him. “Well duh, but me and Miles needed a girl’s day.” Selena smiles at me probably still excited about my news.
Nick pecks me on the lips as he looks at me. “You’re hiding something from me I can tell.” He grins at me.
I bite my lip nervously. “Well maybe I am.” I smirk at him.
He wraps his arms around me. “Please tell me” He pouts.
I giggle as I kiss his lips. “You are around Lacey way too much.”
He groans as he grabs a hold my hands. “Come on Miles you’re killing me here just tell me.”
I smile as I whisper in his ear. “You’re going to be a dad.” I pull away to see his reaction.
His eyes widen as he smiles big. “I’m going to be a dad?”
I nod as I see Lacey run over to us. “I want a brother, so make sure its boy.” She giggles.
I laugh as I pick her up. “We’ll see Lacey, but what do you think Nick?”
He hugs both me and Lacey. “I think I have the most perfect wife.” He pecks me on lips. “And the cutest daughter ever.” He tickles Lacey tummy as she giggles.
I kiss him back. “That’s good to hear.”
“Do you think that will be us one day?” Selena asks.
“Of course babe, but I don’t think our love can compare to theirs.” Joe replies as he looks over at Niley.
“I know what you mean, but I guess that’s what happens when two different worlds collide.” Selena smiles she snuggles into Joe’s arms.
